About me...
Who am I
My name is Simon and I run a small, friendly accountancy practice based in Altrincham. I specialise in Sole Trader and small company accounting & taxation requirements. I also offer payroll, company secretarial services and general help with business planning and forecasting.
I have been working as an accountant both in practice and industry for more than 25 years and I have gained a considerable amount of experience during that time. I have held various roles from trainee accountant to Company Secretary and Finance Director positions, but the best role I have ever had, is the one I have now. I get to meet so many fantastic people and try and help them to the best of my ability.
I believe that in order to do the best job for your clients, it is essential to get to know them and understand their business needs. This isn't always possible during phone calls and so I actively encourage face to face contact with all of my clients, either at my office or wherever they prefer and feel most comfortable. It is important to keep in contact, and not just once a year. I speak to my clients on a regular basis, sometimes daily. As the actor Bob Hoskins used to say, "it's good to talk"
